JetBlue plans to begin flying from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport to Charleston, S.C., and the Turks and Caicos as the low-cost carrier continues to increase its presence South Florida.

The daily flights to Charleston and Provedenciales would be the seventh and eighth that JetBlue has introduced from Fort Lauderdale this year (the Turks and Caicos route must still receive government approval).

The Charleston route will launch on Nov. 19.

Earlier this year, JetBlue announced routes from Fort Lauderdale to Mexico City; Albany, N.Y.; Cleveland; Detroit; Baltimore; and Philadelphia.

Also last week, Jet Blue began selling tickets for daily flights between Daytona Beach, Fla., and New York's Kennedy Airport. The service will commence on Jan. 7.
