JetBlue has launched a co-branded credit card for premium flyers.
The JetBlue Premier Mastercard, issued in partnership with Barclays, will offer each cardholder and a guest free access to JetBlue's first branded lounges, slated to open late this year at New York JFK and Boston Logan airports.
Other premium-focused perks are access to the Priority Pass network of some 1,500 lounges worldwide as well as early boarding.
The card has an annual fee of $495. Applications opened on Jan. 29. Under an introductory offer, cardholders will receive 70,000 TrueBlue points plus a 10% boost toward the airline's first status level after spending $5,000 with the card in the first three months.
The Premier Card adds to a JetBlue credit card portfolio that includes the JetBlue Card, JetBlue Plus Card and JetBlue Business Card.
In addition to adding lounges, JetBlue recently introduced an extra-legroom bundle. The carrier plans to install domestic first-class seats in 2026, augmenting its existing Mint business class on long-haul routes.
