Malaysia Airlines will join the Oneworld alliance as a full member on Feb. 1.
The national airline of Malaysia completed a readiness review conducted by Qantas, which is sponsoring Malaysia Airlines’ entry into the alliance, Oneworld said.
Malaysia Airlines will add 14 destinations and one country, Brunei, to Oneworld. The alliance said Malaysia Airlines will “strengthen Oneworld’s connectivity between many key business cities in Asia and other parts of the world.”
