Low-cost Mexican carrier Volaris will launch nonstop flights three times per week between Phoenix and Mexico City and Phoenix and Guadalajara later this year.

Exact days and flight times have not yet been announced.

Volaris is based at Toluca Airport near Mexico City and serves 27 domestic points and 10 U.S. destinations.

The carrier's earlier partnership with Southwest Airlines ended earlier this year due to Southwest's acquisition of AirTran Airways.
