Milan airport closed for runway repairs

MILAN, Italy -- Linate Airport here closed on Aug. 6 and won't reopen until Aug. 26.

Repairs to the runway and passenger boarding areas are under way.

Travelers bound for the northern Italy destination instead must use Malpensa Airport or Orio al Serio Airport, both located nearly 30 miles from the city.
