Major airports across Florida will mostly remain closed
Monday as officials inspect runways and terminals to make sure they are safe in
the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
Miami, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Tampa airports all plan
to reopen Tuesday pending safety inspections.
Orlando airport didn’t give a timeline for reopening but
said it had a team on standby to inspect the facility.
Fort Myers’ airport might not reopen until the middle of the
week, the Naples Daily News reported.
Palm Beach's airport will reopen Monday at noon. The first
flight is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
