Trade group urges government to require facial coverings in airports

Trade association Airports Council International -- North America is urging the U.S. government to require all individuals in airport terminals to wear facial coverings over their nose and mouth.

“This will help to minimize the spread of Covid-19 and re-instill confidence of those who work in or travel through America’s airports,” said Airports Council International CEO Kevin Burke.

Some individual airports already require people to wear face masks, including Denver and Los Angeles International.
