United will open a Los Angeles Polaris lounge on Saturday.
The 12,000 square-foot facility will be the fifth Polaris lounge, joining lounges in Chicago O'Hare, San Francisco, Houston and Newark.
The high-end offering caters to upscale international travelers and will be available only to flyers holding a United Polaris business boarding pass as well as those holding first class and business class boarding passes on flights operated by another Star Alliance airline.
The Los Angeles airport Polaris lounge is located in Terminal 7 between gates 73 and 75A in the space that formerly housed the United first class lounge. It joins other improvements at Terminal 7, where United recently completed a $573 million renovation.
The lounge has 140 seats and also features daybeds, private dining and signature cocktails, among other amenities.
