Icelandic budget carrier Wow Air will begin flying to Newark on Nov. 25.

The daily flight from Newark to Reykjavik is being offered for as low as $99 one way. One-way tickets from Newark through Reykjavik and onto one of Wow’s 23 destinations in Europe are available for as low as $149 one way.

Wow’s announcement comes one day after Allegiant said that it would be the first domestic ultra-low-cost carrier to serve Newark. Allegiant will launch flights from Newark to Cincinnati; Knoxville, Tenn.; Savannah, Ga.; and Asheville, N.C., in November.

The news from both airlines comes on the heels of the FAA’s April decision to loosen landing restrictions at United-dominated Newark, which has made the airport a possibility for new entrants.
