Tuesday’s fatal train derailment in Philadelphia shut down Amtrak service between New York and Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Modified Amtrak service will be provided between Washington and Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Philadelphia, and New York and Boston.

According to reports, the derailment killed six people, and 200 people were treated at hospitals for injuries from the crash.

There were 238 passengers and five crew members on board, Amtrak said.
