Hickory Global Partners named as president Chris Dane, formalizing his role after the corporate travel agency consortium last summer hired him as a consultant to lead the organization.
Dane's industry experience includes executive positions at American Airlines, Hogg Robinson Group and Sabre.
He also previously served as president of Hickory Travel Systems, a preexisting Hickory entity, "but left that post over differences with ownership," according to a company statement.
Hickory since was acquired by InTravel, a holding company of The Traina Companies.
