MENLO PARK, Calif. -- GetThere projects that users of its corporate
self-booking tool will be able to make their own exchanges by the
end of first-quarter 2003.
During the first quarter, GetThere said some customers will be
testing the exchange functionality, which will apply to refundable
and nonrefundable fares.
The system will enable users to retrieve their reservation and
revise a booking. The tool, in turn, will calculate the cost of the
exchange, taking into account the specific airline's change fee,
GetThere said.
