TSA expands PreCheck program to international travel

Certain members of TSA's PreCheck program on May 7 will become eligible for expedited screening on "select international travel itineraries" operated by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, United Airlines and US Airways, according to the U.S. Transportation Security Administration.

"Eligible" passengers are U.S. citizens who are members of certain airline loyalty programs or members of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Trusted Traveler program, such as Global Entry.

Expedited screening for international flights will occur at the 40 airports in the PreCheck program, including domestic flight connections that follow an international leg.
