U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Sept. 8 will reopen enrollment centers for its Trusted Traveler Programs, the agency announced Friday. CBP closed the centers in March at the onset of the Covid-19 epidemic in the United States.

Applicants for the Global Entry program who have received conditional beginning Sept. 8 can complete in-person interviews at most enrollment centers, according to CBP, but must schedule interviews in advance through the Trusted Traveler Program website. CBP requires all applicants to wear face coverings at enrollment centers.

Interviews at Nexus and FAST enrollment centers remain suspended until further notice, according to CBP, and Sentri "enrollments on the southern border may also be limited."
