AMResorts will add a second property in Costa
Rica with the opening of the adults-only Secrets Papagayo Resort & Spa in
the Guanacaste region on Nov. 11.
The company assumed management of the Hilton
Papagayo Costa Rica Resort & Spa on Feb. 28 and will operate the resort
under the name Papagayo Resort & Spa until May 15.
The property then will close for a six-month
renovation to upgrade the resort's 202 suites, facilities and
amenities.
The Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica, Apple's first resort in the country, opened late last
year in the same area.
