Atari Hotels -- a new gaming hospitality concept that pays homage to the classic video game system -- has detailed plans to open a flagship location in Las Vegas.
Launched earlier this year, the brand is concurrently planning to open an inaugural hotel in Phoenix.
According to Atari Hotels, its Las Vegas flagship will be "built with classic and modern video game culture in mind," offering guests access to the latest video games and immersive entertainment as well as retro video game arcades and state-of-the-art amenities for esports fans.
The property will also house themed restaurants and bars, including a speakeasy-style venue, and a nightclub.
Development of the Las Vegas project is being spearheaded by Atari Hotels owner GSD Group, in partnership with architecture and design firm Gensler.
GSD Group said it is currently laying groundwork for additional Atari Hotels in markets like Austin, Texas; Chicago; Denver; San Francisco; San Jose, Calif.; and Seattle, Wash.
