Universal Orlando Resort has opened Bourne
Stuntacular, a new show based on Universal
Pictures’ blockbuster Bourne high-adventure film franchise.
The show promises to immerse guests in the world of
super-spy Jason Bourne by combining live stunts with special effects, a huge
LED screen and high-tech props.
Guests will see live performers executing “extreme stunts at
heights up to 22 feet,” and practical effects that will have them feeling gusts
of wind and the heat of explosive flames, Universal said.
The show is located in the Universal Studios Florida theme park in the former home of Terminator 2: 3D.
Universal previewed highlights of the show and behind the
scenes footage on its YouTube channel on June 29, followed by the debut of the
attraction on June 30.
Show times and park admission pricing are available on the Universal Orlando App.
To minimize the chances of spreading Covid-19, masks will be
required for audience members. Universal also said that show capacity will be
limited and wait times may be longer than usual.
Correction: Admission to the Bourne Stuntacular does not cost extra. It is included with admission to Universal Studios Florida.
