AMResorts has opened the Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa
in the Canary Islands.
The 335-room, adults-only property is fresh off a $11.1 million renovation of the former Hesperia-branded resort. The updated property features a number of swim-up suites with
private terraces and direct pool access, as well as a new spa, upgraded gym
facilities and new meeting space with capacity for more than 1,300 attendees.
Additionally, 125 guestrooms at Secrets Lanzarote have been allocated as Secrets Preferred Club
accommodations. Guests who book the premium Secrets Preferred Club option are
promised "an elevated experience that includes luxury amenities and offerings,"
including access to a Preferred Club Lounge, private pool and solarium, daily
breakfast served in a private restaurant, upgraded bathroom amenities and
exclusive concierge services.
Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa is the latest project spawned by AMResorts’ strategic partnership with Hesperia Hotels &
Resorts. The two companies opened the first Secrets in
Europe -- the Secrets Mallorca Villamil Resort & Spa -- earlier this year.
Next year, the pair plan to convert the Hesperia Playa Dorada to the Dreams
Lanzarote Resort & Spa.
