Chicago boutique hotel to join Hilton’s Curio collection

Chicago’s LondonHouse, a 452-room lifestyle hotel being developed on the southern end of the city’s Magnificent Mile, will join Hilton’s Curio collection of independent hotels.

LondonHouse will be built out of the 92-year-old London Guarantee Building and an adjoining 22-story tower under construction. The hotel, named for the jazz club that was located in the building before closing in the 1970s, is slated to open next spring.

Hilton debuted Curio last year. Its members include the SLS Las Vegas, Highland Dallas and Providence Biltmore.
