SILVER SPRINGS, Md. -- Choice Hotels launched a spring promotion
that allows travelers to earn a free night's lodging after every
two stays at any Choice brand hotel in the U.S. including Comfort
Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion or MainStay
Suites.
Travelers must be members of the Choice Privileges reward
program to participate in the "Stay Twice, Earn a Free Night"
promotion, which is valid Feb. 1 through April 30.
Choice said Privileges members who stay on two separate
occasions at any Choice Hotels' mid-scale brand hotel will receive
a minimum of 5,000 bonus points in addition to the points earned
from the original two qualifying stays. Combined, the points are
enough to redeem for a free night stay. There is no limit on the
number of times travelers can earn free nights during the
promotion.
"By setting no limits on the number of times travelers can earn
free nights, we're making it almost impossible for value-conscious
travelers to stay anywhere but at Choice Hotels' brands this
spring," said Wayne Wielgus, senior vice president of marketing for
Choice Hotels.
Travelers who prefer to collect airline miles/credits may opt
for a different bonus, Choice said. Between February 12 and April
30, Choice guests who provide their airline frequent flier number
at check-in will receive double miles/credits, or 500 miles/1
credit per stay instead of the standard 250 miles/.5 credits.
