Sandals Resorts unveiled the Louis Grant Conference Center at the Sandals Dunn's River in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

The center adds 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space to the all-inclusive resort and is Sandals' largest conference facility in Jamaica. It can accommodate up to 500 guests.

A 5,396-square-foot main venue can be divided into three separate ballrooms. The conference center also has two boardrooms and two pre-function areas for registration, networking and breakout sessions.

The facility showcases natural wood elements and locally inspired artwork, Sandals said.

The conference center's name honors the late Louis Grant, who had a 60-year career in the travel industry. He joined Sandals in 1991 and served as general manager of the Sandals Dunn's River for more than 25 years.

The Sandals Dunn's River reopened in early December after a temporary closure following Hurricane Melissa.
