The Delano Miami Beach has reopened its doors. Shuttered since 2020, the hotel has undergone a $100 million restoration and began welcoming guests on June 6.
The hotel has 171 guestrooms and suites, including two-story Poolside Bungalows with a lower-level living area and an upper level with bedrooms and full baths.

The hotel's reopening marks the debut of the Delano Members Club. According to Delano, the private club's membership is curated by a "committee of leading voices across art, film, fashion, music, business and technology."

Other updates include the restoration of the building's original art deco elements, including its exterior facade, terrazzo flooring and its Delano logo. The historic Delano pool and gardens were rebuilt.
The hotel's Rose Bar, which is located off the lobby, has been re-created.
On the culinary front, the property features an outpost of Gigi Rigolatto, an Italian brand with locations in Saint-Tropez, Paris, Dubai, Rome and Bodrum. The restaurant occupies the Delano's first floor and extends to the beach, offering a blend of indoor dining, poolside tables and beach cabanas.

The hotel is also home to Mimi Kakushi, a 1920s Osaka-inspired Japanese restaurant on the fourth floor that's accessible only to Delano Members Club members and hotel guests.
A third dining outlet, Cafe Delano, offers an a la carte menu inspired by Italian cafes.
Two 14th-floor penthouse accommodations, an Ocean View Penthouse and City View Penthouse, will soon join the mix, while The Source by Delano, a new spa and wellness concept, is expected to open this fall. Among the spa's highlights will be a 22-seat sauna designed for group experiences.

The Delano Miami Beach, which dates back to 1947, was rebuilt and reopened by famed boutique hotelier Ian Schrager in July 1995, amid a wave of upscaling along South Beach.
Delano today is one of the brands in Ennismore, a lifestyle hospitality company that is majority-owned by Accor.
The South Beach hotel's reopening comes as Ennismore plots further expansion of the Delano brand. The group debuted a Delano in Dubai in 2024 and has announced the signings of the Delano SoHo New York and Delano London.
