Temple Detroit, a new high-end hotel set to open in 2020, will join luxury hotel collection House of Originals.

Temple Detroit will be the first new property added to the House of Originals since SBE and Accor jointly launched the brand earlier this year.

Housed within a historic building in the city’s Cass Corridor district, Temple Detroit will comprise 100 guestrooms and 70 residences. Design of the $72 million project is being spearheaded by architecture firm McIntosh Poris Associates and musician Lenny Kravitz’s interior design group Kravitz Design.

Temple Detroit will feature three food-and-beverage concepts, including a rooftop pool and lounge, a restaurant, and a basement venue called Vault Bar, which will host DJs, live music and other entertainment.

Additional property amenities will include a spa and indoor and outdoor event space.

Temple Detroit will join the Sanderson and St. Martins Lane in London, 10 Karakoy in Istanbul and the Shore Club in Miami Beach in the House of Originals portfolio.
