Secret Bay in Dominica, an island hit hard by Hurricane Maria last September, is reopening on Nov. 1, said owner Gregor Nassief.

The cliffside resort on Dominica's northwest coast will reopen with six rebuilt villas: Zabuco I, II and III; Ylang Ylang I and II; and a larger Ti-Fey Villa. All will have private plunge pools.

New to the property will be a restaurant, but in-room dining will continue to be offered. A yoga, spa and wellness pavilion will serve as a riverside location for wellness classes and spa treatments.

Secret Bay also will move forward with its planned Residences at Secret Bay.
