A Wyndham Alltra all-inclusive resort is coming to Samana in the Dominican Republic.

The 404-room resort will be a rebranding of the Grand Paradise Samana. It's on track to reopen as a Wyndham Alltra in the third quarter of this year, following a renovation.

The upper-midscale resort will have revamped common areas, restaurants, bars and and guestrooms.

The resort will be the fourth Wyndham Alltra and the first in the Caribbean. The other Alltra resorts are in Mexico -- Cancun, Riviera Nayarit and Playa del Carmen.

Playa Hotels & Resorts will manage the property. Playa joined forces with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to launch Alltra, Wyndham's first all-inclusive brand, in late 2021.
