The second Nobu hotel in the U.S. is scheduled to open within the Eden Roc Miami Beach by the end of next year.
The hotel is branded around Japanese chef and restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa.
Nobu Hotel Eden Roc Miami Beach will comprise 210 of the property's 631
guestrooms. The hotel, which will be designed by Rockwell Group, will
include a new beachfront restaurant as well as a 20,000-square-foot spa
and more than 70,000 square feet of meeting space.
Built in 1956,
the Eden Roc Miami Beach was designed by the late Morris Lapidus, who
was also the architect of the Fontainebleau next door. The hotel
operated under Marriott’s Renaissance brand from 2000 to 2013.
Hotels, whose investors include Robert DeNiro, opened its first
property last year within the Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The Nobu Hotel
City of Dreams Manila is slated to open in the Philippines by the end of
