Expedia and Motel 6 form partnership

Expedia Inc. has formed a partnership with G6 Hospitality that gives its Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands access to Expedia technology and marketing.

Under the agreement, customers can enroll in the hotel company's loyalty program on Expedia-owned sites and receive preferred pricing.

The agreement also enables G6 to participate in Expedia's advertising program and receive market insights and business intelligence.

G6 Hospitality chief marketing officer Lance Miceli said the agreement is "the first step in a larger strategic relationship between Expedia and G6 Hospitality."
