Firm sells London's St. Ermin's hotel

CHICAGO -- Strategic Hotel Capital, a Chicago real estate firm, sold London's St. Ermin's hotel to Jolly Hotels, an Italian hotel company, for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction is expected to close in January.

Strategic Hotel Capital has owned the 290-room hotel, which is located in Westminster, since 1998.

The property was previously a member of Stakis Hotels, the Scottish chain that was acquired by Hilton International.

Hilton's management contract for the St. Ermin's will terminate once the transaction closes.
