HBO has confirmed that two French Riviera properties, the Airelles Chateau de la Messardiere in Saint-Tropez and the Hotel Martinez in Cannes, will serve as the titular hotel settings in the fourth season of the network's hit series "The White Lotus."
The properties will appear as the White Lotus du Cap and the White Lotus Cannes, respectively.
The Airelles Chateau de la Messardiere is an 86-room property housed within a 19th-century Saint-Tropez estate, while the 410-room Hotel Martinez, which opened in 1929, is part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt and is home to the Michelin-starred La Palme d'Or restaurant.
Separately, the 184-room Mandarin Oriental Lutetia Paris has confirmed it's among the season's Parisian filming locations.
The latest season of "The White Lotus" began filming across Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Monaco and Paris last month, with the story set to focus on a group of hotel guests and employees during the Cannes Film Festival.
The series has become one of the travel industry's most notable drivers of "set-jetting" demand in recent years, with Season 3 -- filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, Rosewood Phuket and two Anantara properties in Thailand -- driving a significant bump in bookings for those hotels and Thailand overall.
