Accor’s fourth-quarter revenue rose on higher demand for hotels in the Mediterranean region and the Americas.

The Paris-based company, which doesn’t report GAAP earnings, said that fourth-quarter revenue rose 2.1% from a year earlier to 1.4 billion euros (about $1.63 billion). Revenue through the first three quarters of last year had been flat.

Fourth-quarter same-store revenue rose 5.1% overall, and about 6% in the Mediterranean/Middle East and Americas regions.

Accor's brands include Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel and Ibis.
