Another JW Marriott hotel is coming to Orlando, and it will
be built at Bonnet Creek, a resort development surrounded by the Walt Disney World
Resort.
Construction of the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek will
begin later this year. Marriott anticipates an opening in the first
quarter of 2020.
Among the luxury hotel's 516 guestrooms will be 80 suites.
In addition to two presidential suites, there will be 16
two-bedroom suites with optional connections to create four-bedroom family
units.
Guests will be able to watch Disney's daily fireworks from a
rooftop bar. An amenity deck will offer basketball, tennis and shuffleboard.
The pool area will have decks, terraces and an area for kids.
Plans also call for a spa, children's playroom, teen center
and 50,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom.
Bonnet Creek is also home to Hilton, Waldorf Astoria and
Wyndham Grand hotels plus a Wyndham timeshare resort.
JW Marriott already has an Orlando hotel in the Grande Lakes
development that opened in 2003.
