The renowned Jim McLean Golf School is moving its headquarters from the Trump National Doral, Fla., to the historic Biltmore Hotel in nearby Coral Gables.
The school said it would establish operations at the Biltmore on Jan. 1. "We'll be bringing along our top golf instruction technology with the most qualified and best trained teaching professionals in the world," McLean said in a statement on the school's website. "For the past 27 years, our program has been committed to our students and their successes, and we look forward to continuing the same tradition of golf instructional excellence in our new landmark location."
The school offers classes with world-class golf professionals and state-of-the-art techniques. It has produced both PGA and LPGA tournament winners since its founding in 1991.
Matthias Kammerer, managing director at the Biltmore, said the hotel was "continuously working to provide our guests with exceptional offerings, and the Jim McLean Golf School will further distinguish the Biltmore Golf Course as a top destination for golfers of all skill levels from all over the world."
