Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced it will manage a luxury resort and residences being developed on Grand Cayman.
Set to open in 2021, Mandarin Oriental, Grand Cayman will be an exclusive 100-room beachfront resort with 89 residences, the company said in a press release.
The resort will be situated on 67 acres at St. James Point, about 15 minutes from the airport, on the southern shore of the island. The site overlooks its own secluded white-sand beach and the rooms and suites will all have water views.
There will be five restaurants and bars, including a farm-to-table dining option, and a range of wellness options, including walking and cycling trails, a fitness center, tennis courts and swimming pools, a beach club and the brand's renowned Spa at Mandarin Oriental.
Mandarin Oriental also manages the Pink Sands Club, Canouan, in St Vincent & the Grenadines.
