Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville brand will add a new resort in Nassau, Bahamas, with the phased opening of Margaritaville at The Pointe in mid-2019.

The $250 million, 6-acre development already is under construction and will feature a 150-room Margaritaville Beach Resort and 150 oceanfront residences, of which 100 will be branded One Particular Harbour at The Point.

The resort will have a 45-slip marina, private beach with cabanas, the LandShark water park, St. Somewhere Spa, several Margaritaville food and beverage concepts, a movie theater, bowling alley, outdoor stage and kids' club.

A public-access boardwalk will be lined by tiki hut-style marina shops. A pier will be home to a restaurant and yacht club, and will serve as a launching point for pirate ship excursions and a water taxi transporting tourists to points of interest in and around Nassau.

Guests will have access to a cave aquarium, blue hole diving pool, water slide tower, infinity pool, surf simulator and a tropical island overlooking a lazy river.

The contemporary residences at One Particular Harbour will range from one to three bedrooms in layout and have unobstructed ocean views. Each will have an eight-foot-wide glass balcony.
