Marriott to add Miami's Eden Roc to Renaissance brand

WASHINGTON -- Marriott International will add the Eden Roc Resort and Spa in Miami Beach, Fla., to the company's Renaissance brand.

The 349-room resort, owned by the Blackacre Capital Group, was built in 1955 and will now be known as the Eden Roc Renaissance Resort and Spa.

The hotel has a spa, a sports complex, a Lifestyles Wellness Center, as well as such sporting venues as pools, basketball courts, and a rock-climbing wall. The Eden Roc also has 36,000 square feet of meeting space.
