Marriott International has signed a global partnership agreement with ResortPass, a booking platform for day passes to hotel amenities.
Under the agreement, Marriott plans to expand the number of properties offering day access to amenities like hotel pools and spas, without an overnight stay. The deal also aims to streamline the process for Marriott hotels to join the ResortPass platform.
Founded in 2016, ResortPass currently works with more than 2,700 hotel and spa partners across the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean. The company reported a record Memorial Day weekend this year, with spa bookings during that holiday period up 148% year over year.
"People are craving accessible experiences that deliver moments of rest, recharge, escape and play," said ResortPass CEO Michael Wolf, adding that "ResortPass is expanding access to those experiences at scale."
ResortPass also said the partnership comes as hotels are increasingly looking to day access as a source of incremental revenue and a way to attract local guests.
