Downtown Los Angeles will get 727 new hotel rooms come April 12, when the dual-branded Moxy Downtown Los Angeles and AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles complex opens its doors.
Located across the street from the Crypto.com Arena and Los Angeles Convention Center at the corner of South Figueroa and Pico, the 380-key Moxy and 347-room AC Hotel are housed within a 37-story, L-shaped high-rise.
The two hotels offer guests access to a dozen new dining and entertainment venues and 13,000 square feet of shared meeting and event space.
F&B options will include outposts of signature brand concepts Bar Moxy and AC Bar & Lounge, as well as the AC's La Lo La Rooftop, which will serve Spanish-style tapas on the property's 34th floor.
A 30,000-square-foot culinary and entertainment hub from Los Angeles-based Houston Hospitality, called Level 8, is also set to debut later this spring. Level 8 will be home to cocktail lounge Mr. Wanderlust, South American live-fire grill restaurant Que Barbaro, French-Japanese teppanyaki eatery Maison Kasai, alfresco oyster and ceviche bar Mother of Pearl and cathedral-inspired nightclub Sinners y Santos.
Additionally, the F&B venues at Level 8 will host live music and other performances.
Rates at the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles begin at $199 per night, while rates at the AC Downtown Los Angeles start at $219 per night.
The Moxy Downtown Los Angeles will be the first Moxy hotel to open in Los Angeles. The AC Downtown Los Angeles joins the AC Hotel Beverly Hills and AC Hotel Los Angeles South Bay.
Both Moxy and AC Hotels are Marriott International brands.
