The L.A Live center in downtown Los Angeles will get two more hotels, a Courtyard by Marriott and a Residence Inn by Marriott.
The development already has a JW Marriott and a Ritz-Carlton, luxury hotels that opened last year. Courtyard and Residence Inn are upper-midscale brands catering to business travelers and extended-stay travelers, respectively.
Marriott International said a partnership led by Williams/Dame and Associates will develop a 22-story, 377-room hotel tower adjacent to L.A. Live that will house the Courtyard and the Residence Inn. The tower will be built at the northwest corner of Olympic Boulevard and Francisco Street.
The new tower will be directly across the street from the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton.
