The Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans has become a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
The 27-year-old hotel, known for its art collection and Grill Room restaurant, is nearing the completion of a $22 million renovation. All 322 guestrooms and existing public spaces already have been updated.
“We have taken the traditional English decor for which we are renowned and blended it with French Vogue influences,” the hotel said on its website.
Windsor Court will open a cocktail bar in January and a spa in the spring.
A group led by the Berger Company, a real estate development firm based New Orleans, owns the Windsor Court Hotel. The group purchased it in October 2009 from Orient-Express Hotels.
Aimbridge Hospitality of Plano, Texas, manages the hotel.
