Holland America Line said scheduled stops by the Noordam in the Israeli ports of Haifa and Ashdod on Sept. 2 and 3 were canceled because of uncertainty over possible U.S. military action against Syria.
The cruise line substituted three new port calls in Bodrum, Turkey; Antalya, Turkey; and Nafplion, Greece.
Guests will receive a future cruise credit equal to 15% of their base fare, and an adjustment on taxes and fees. Shore excursions arranged through HAL will be refunded.
The Noordam is on an 11-day sailing scheduled to arrive in Athens on Sept. 6.
