LanesboroughLuxury resort operator Oetker Collection will take over management of the Lanesborough next spring.

The 93-room London hotel, which has been closed for renovations since late 2013, overlooks Hyde Park Corner near Buckingham Palace.

The 19th century building, which was originally constructed as a hospital, was first operated as a luxury hotel in the early 1990s by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and most recently as part of the St. Regis chain.

Oetker Collection has eight resorts, including Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera and Le Bristol Paris.
