Marriott International's is bringing its JW Marriott brand to Spain for the first time, unveiling plans to open a new outpost of the luxury flag in Madrid next year.
Located within the city's Plaza de Canalejas, the JW Marriott Madrid promises proximity to several museums, including the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, as well as the luxury shopping destination Galeria Canalejas.

The hotel will house 139 rooms, including two floors of suite accommodations. Each of the hotel's suites will feature an outdoor terrace.
The property will also be home to a lobby bar, a restaurant and wellness facilities.
The JW Marriott portfolio currently spans around 100 hotels across 30 countries and territories globally.
