Mexico's Posadas hotel company is planning to open the Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic this March.
It will be the first Dominican Republic-based property to join Posadas' La Coleccion Resorts portfolio, growing the La Coleccion lineup to 16 resorts across the company's Live Aqua, Grand Fiesta Americana, Fiesta Americana and The Explorean brands.
Located in the northern region of Uvero Alto, the adults-only Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana will comprise 345 rooms across seven categories, offering premium options like Junior Suites, which will feature swim-up access to the property's main swimming pools, as well as accommodations with access to private swimming pools and terraces.
All accommodations at the Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana will be outfitted with flat screen televisions, espresso machines, bathrooms with soaking tubs and aromatherapy and pillow menus, among other offerings.
Other property highlights will include seven restaurants, which will be spearheaded by Mexican chef Gerardo Rivera, as well as a fitness center, spa and nearly 10,000 square feet of event space.
The Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana will be the seventh hotel under the Live Aqua Resorts flag and the brand's first outpost outside Mexico.
