Omni Hotels & Resorts has reflagged the Westin in Providence, R.I., after acquiring the 564-room hotel from Procaccianti Group.
The hotel opened in 1994 and is across the street from the Rhode Island Convention Center. Omni said it would spend “millions” on upgrades this year.
Omni operates 50 hotels, including convention hotels in Atlanta, Dallas and San Diego. The Omni Nashville will open near that city’s convention center later this year.
