Red Rock Resorts and Station Casinos president Richard
Haskins died on July 4 in a watercraft accident while vacationing in Michigan.
He was 56.
Haskins had served as president of Station and parent
company Red Rock since October 2015. He joined Station in 1995 as general
counsel of Midwest operations.
“Words cannot express what Rich has meant to the company and
to me in the 25 years he has been with Station Casinos,” Red Rock Resorts CEO
and chairman Frank Fertitta III said in a statement. “He was a trusted advisor,
a brilliant strategist, a steady hand in good times and in bad and most
important -- a friend to all. It is very hard to imagine Station Casinos being
the company it is today without Rich.”
Station Casinos’ properties are located throughout the Las
Vegas area. They include the Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Palms, Palace
Station and Boulder Station hotel casinos.
