The 60-room Nantucket Hotel & Resort, on the island off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts, is poised to open June 29 after an extensive six-month renovation.
The hotel retains its 19th century exterior but features a completely redone interior, offering both traditional hotel rooms and one- to four-bedroom suites with kitchenettes and living/dining room areas. Also new is the indoor/outdoor Breeze Bar & Cafe, two swimming pools and a fitness center.
The all-season resort, which was closed for eight years prior to the start of the renovation, is offering a Grand Opening Promotion that trims 20% from the total room rate for guests staying three nights in a suite. Room rates begin at $395 per night; $660 per night for a family suite based on a three-night minimum stay. In August, rates rise to $495 and $860, respectively.
A Two-Island Adventure package pairs a stay at the hotel with a stay at the Winnetu, on neighboring Martha’s Vineyard. The package, priced at $110, includes ferry transportation from Hyannis to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard and transfers to and from the hotels. Accommodations at the Winnetu start at $750 per night.
