The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas will reopen a week earlier than planned, on Nov. 22. The hotel has undergone an extensive $100 million restoration and renovation.

Originally scheduled to reopen Dec. 1, the 180-room hotel has been shuttered since hurricanes Irma and Maria damaged it in late 2017.

The refreshed Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas will feature redesigned public spaces, updated accommodations, a remodeled infinity pool and a new Sicilian restaurant, Alloro.

To commemorate its reopening ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, the hotel has unveiled a variety of holiday promotions, including twice-daily excursions -- including a Thanksgiving-inspired dinner cruise -- aboard the property's new, 60-foot Lady Lynsey II catamaran and Thanksgiving menus and culinary experiences at its Sails Restaurant, Coconut Cove and Alloro restaurants.

Room rates will start at $899 per night over Thanksgiving, with rates for December starting at $599 per night.

Correction: A previous version of this report had incorrect rate information.
