Kazakhstan’s first Ritz-Carlton hotel has opened in Almaty, the country’s biggest city.

The hotel has 145 guestrooms and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

The property was developed by Capital Partners, which also built the 334-room Ritz-Carlton Moscow. That hotel opened in 2006.
