Six Senses is bringing its first overwater resort in the Americas to Belize, with an opening slated for 2028.

Set on the private island of Emerald Caye, the Six Senses Belize will feature overwater accommodations as well as 16 residences, which are priced starting at $3.75 million.

Food and beverage offerings will include the All-Day Dining Village, which is billed as "a collection of open-air spaces" on the beachfront, and the Longhouse, a multilevel venue housing a cafe, deli, wine shop, restaurant and bar. The property will also be home to the Sunset Bar, a swim-up cocktail bar that will offer sunken lounges and nets suspended over the water.

The property's Six Senses Spa Belize will be designed as a "village-style sanctuary," featuring sand paths, mangroves and lagoons, as well as treatment rooms with ocean views.

The luxury brand, which is part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio, currently has overwater accommodations at the Six Senses Laamu and Six Senses Kanuhura, both in the Maldives, and the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in Vietnam.
