On Wednesday, the Tourist Offices of Spain said that around 100 guests at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace on the island of Tenerife will soon be authorized to leave the hotel.

The hotel was put on lockdown after two guests -- an Italian man and his wife -- tested positive for Covid-19 coronavirus.

The tourist office said guests permitted to leave were determined to have no contact with the infected couple. Additionally, hotel guests who are residents of Tenerife who are also symptom-free and did not have contact with the couple are being permitted to leave, on the condition that they self-isolate in their homes.

As of Wednesday morning, the tourist office reported that 90% of the guests at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace are not showing any symptoms.
